About Chef Ryan Lory

Ryan Lory is an award winning chef who's passion for cooking shines through his deliciously simple yet delectable dishes.

Among his accolades, Ryan competed twice on Food Nework's Chopped and Beat Bobby Flay, he won the D' Artagnan Cassoulet Championship of 2018 and Ryan's restaurant Ardyn in the West Village of NYC received a Full-Plate from the Michelin Guide in 2019. 

His passion, dedication and love for his craft shows in the quality and presentation in every dish. Ryan has championed a style of cooking that is at the forefront of New American Cuisine movement, using regionally sourced produce, fish and meat to inspire his seasonal creations. Keeping the ingredients integrity while creating art on a plate is Ryan’s true calling and he will showcase this skill daily.

His latest project ARDYN, located in NYC was his dream restaurant in which he owned, operated, and executed a fine dining restaurant that quickly became notorious in NYC dining.

After 6 months the restaurant was awarded a Full Plate in the 2020 Michelin Guide. Due to COVID 19 the restaurant closed only a week after it celebrated its first year anniversary and this is where Ryan made a pivot into the world of private dining and catering. He went on to become an avid fisherman as well and will be offering fishing charters in Spring 2024.

  • Ryan works directly with you to create the menu that will be serves to all guests. He is happy to work around any and all dietary restrictions to create a safe and comfortable experience.

  • Events range due to the format of the party. Average cost is about $200 per person.
